The latest addition to Steven Spielberg’s classic dinosaur movie Jurassic Park is finally here and fans can catch the latest trailers on YouTube. Universal Studios has announced the official release date of the movie titled “Jurassic World” as June 12, 2015 which has been directed by Colin Trevorrow and is based on Michael Crichton’s Jurassic Park. The film stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson, Judy Greer, Vincent D’Onofrio and others. Though Steven Spielberg had announced the movie way back in 2001 there were several delays for finalization of cast, director and story theme. Instead of previous rumors of naming the latest edition as Jurassic Park IV it has been titled Jurassic World. This title was deemed appropriate to present the scene of action in a theme park which has different dinosaur species as main attractions.
About the Trailer
The Jurassic World official trailer which was released on 25th November by Universal has already received more than 20 million views on YouTube. The trailer begins with children Gray and Zack going on a trip to Jurassic World and is being waved off by Bryce Dallas Howard’s character warning them to run if trouble brews on the island. The children are taken to the island along with several other visitors on a hovercraft and the next shot has people wandering around a market area with shops and restaurants. Subsequent scenes show people being driven around in safari style with Apatosaurus eating from treetops like giraffes’ followed by lagoon cruise with stegosaurus and brachiosaurus wandering around the landscape.
Visitors are then shown going on an interactive ride in the Gyrosphere and then sitting around to see a Mosasaurus being fed a large white shark similar to a feeding scene one might witness in a dolphin park when they are fed fishes. The next scene has a scientist declaring proudly that they have managed to create a “genetically modified hybrid” which blends qualities of varied species and is a highly intelligent animal. Rest of the trailer moves pretty swiftly with the warden in charge Chris Pratt declaring that the “Hybrid D-Rex” has escaped its enclosure and could pose a threat to guests. The remaining scenes are typical of Jurassic movies with people running wildly on the streets and children corned by dinosaurs with parents trying to rescue them.
