American actress, producer and singer Ashley Tisdale got married to her musician fiance Christopher French on Monday. The news of the marriage was confirmed by her via Instagram. It was a secret wedding which took place on September 8.
The 29-year-old Tisdale who became a household name in the United States after the release of the High School Musical series was engaged to French for over a year. Vanessa Hudgens her best friend and High School Musical co-star was her bridesmaid. She even revealed some of her wedding photos on Instagram wearing a white gown and a beautiful flower wreath on her head. French looked dapper in a black suit and tie. The bride and groom looked like the happiest couple in the world.
The two met for the first time back in December 2012 through a mutual friend. They hit it off instantly and got engaged in August 2013 on the 103rd floor of the Empire State Building in New York City. It is the first marriage for both of them although she has been romantically involved with dancer Jared Murillo and director Scott Speer in the past. The wedding which took place at a private estate was attended by almost 100 guests. The secrecy of the event was strictly maintained as the guests were made to gather in a separate location and were subsequently shuttled over to the wedding venue which was heavily guarded.
Tisdale talked about her close friendship with Vanessa Hudgens and the experience they shared together during the shooting of High School Musical. They formed a sort of unbreakable bond during that time. Tisdale appeared in a lot of advertisements as a child and soon after the success of High School Musical, she released her debut album Headstrong which recorded huge sales. She has also acted in a number of TV series and lent her voice to Disney’s Emmy award winning animated series Phineas and Ferb in her long career which started way back in 1995.
