Tim Wilson Dies After his Final Performance


Tim Wilson, the comedian who became famous thanks to the show ‘The Bob & Tom Show‘ died after suffering a massive heart attack. He was on his way to his hometown Columbus in Georgia when he suffered the attack. This happened just four days after his performance in his final act. Tim Wilson’s last act was in Bay city, Michigan. The 52 year-old stand-up comedian was loved by his fans. He was known for incorporating country music into his comic act. He has more than a dozen comedy albums under his belt.

Tim Wilson was also a very good writer and had written comedian Jeff Foxworthy’s 1996 single ‘Redneck 12 days of Christmas’. He also used to appear quite frequently in various television shows like American Revolution Country Comedy, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and many more.
His last album was ‘The Real Twang Thang’. He was also a member of an American rock band called ‘Unloco’ which was formed in 2000 and released three albums.

Tim Wilson was apparently preparing for the various shows he was about to attend and seemed to be very excited about them. He was known for his friendly attitude and was known to get friendly even with complete strangers. Many famous personalities expressed their shock and grief over the sudden demise of Tim Wilson. His long-time manager Chris Dipetta also expressed his grief and told the media about his untimely death and how he was one of the best contemporary comedians in America. His wife and both children are also in extreme grief.

Tim Wilson is someone who will be remembered by his fans all over the world for his dedication to his work and as gentle human being who left this world a little too soon.
