Aaron Paul who is famous for playing the role of Jesse Pinkman in the hit TV series Breaking Bad won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama on August 24. During his acceptance speech, Aaron highlighted his wife Lauren Parsekian’s charity called The Kind Campaign. He was quite frank to admit that his wife is making all the difference in the world with her charity organization. It is a non-profit organization that aims to combat girl-against-girl abuse. Paul’s wife was one of the founders of the organization which was formed back in 2009. The organization brings awareness to the negative effects of  female-to-female bullying.

Paul who got married to Lauren last year thanked her for marrying him and also complimented her on her work with the charity. Last year when the TV series Breaking Bad was about to end, Paul threw a party and screening of the finale at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery to send the show off in style. During the same time, Paul partnered with the fund-raising site Omaze.com to give his fans the opportunity to win an all expense paid trip to the final episode while helping to raise money for The Kind Campaign. Those who donated to the contest received a lot of prizes.

The founders Molly Thompson and Lauren began their campaign five years ago by making a documentary video where the two of them traveled around the country and talked to young women and found out universal truths about growing up as girls. Over a period of time, the campaign gained a lot of momentum and has received a lot of support. It even managed to raise more than $1.8 million for the cause. After Paul brought attention to the campaign, a lot of people tried to access its website which resulted in a temporary shutdown.

This kind gesture by Paul will go a long way in making this campaign more successful.
