Ariana Grande,a Rhythm and Blues singer and actress born and brought up in Florida,had an eventful last year as her album ‘Yours Truly’ became an instant hit and was received well by the audience and the critics. Before starting her singing career, she worked mostly in TV shows and theater.
Ariana Grande recently made her debut appearance in the Grammy 2014 award ceremony held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles where she was supposed to present an award. However, it turned out to be a horrible day for her as she took a tumble on the red carpet and eventually cried while posing for the photographers. 20-year old Grande was looking pretty in a floral Dolce & Gabbana outfit and seemed to be confident initially but suddenly, the paparazzi started yelling at her and she lost her composure as well as balance and fell awkwardly on the red carpet.
Ariana Grande was inconsolable and cried profusely backstage. The fans who were close to her when the incident occurred described the whole scenario in detail. However when she regained her composure, she responded to the various support messages on Twitter. She was also criticized for her choice of dress but she responded in a mature manner to all those picking on her.
Ariana Grande has a long way to go before she gets used to such scrutiny and heckling by the paparazzi. Hopefully with time she will be able to handle all this much better. Her fans were very supportive of her all through the incident. This kept Ariana going and helped her overcome the incident.
