In his absence, Patrick Reed who was at the tenth position in the Ryder Cup standings will take the final spot.

Johnson recently got engaged to his fiance Paulina Gretzky. He is known for his colorful past and was a party animal during his younger days. Johnson took a short break from the game two years back as well owing to a back injury. Many believed though that he was serving a drug suspension, but his agent denied that charge. He had a chat with his coach regarding his wayward ways and how he his not utilizing his talent properly. Other players in the circuit were shocked after hearing the news of Johnson’s break and hoped that he would come back stronger.

The PGA tour has refused to say anything about the matter, but Johnson has announced that he will surely make a comeback in the tour once he resolves all his emotional issues.
