The popular TV show Game of Thrones saw the mysterious death of a character in the last episode. A spoiler warning for all those who have not seen the episode yet. It is the child king Joffrey who was brutally murdered in the second episode of the fourth season.
The incident took place at his own wedding ceremony. The king was poisoned and he died immediately. After king Joffrey’s death, Tyrion was arrested as the prime suspect for the murder, but is he the one who poisoned the king?
Well, Tyrion was not the one involved, the whole affair was a setup to trap Tyrion. The real murderer is Olenna Tyrell.
The murder of king Joffrey was indeed a detailed plan which began in the first episode of the fourth season. It is the necklace which was given to Sansa by Ser Dontos. One of the jewels on the necklace was really an ampule of poison. This fact was known only by Lady Olenna Tyrell. So, during the wedding ceremony, Olenna goes up to Sansa to apologize for the incident that took place at the Red wedding. At that time, she strokes Sansa’s necklace and pinches the poisonous gem from the jewelery.
Olenna even declares what she was about to do. When the poison starts to show the effect and Joffrey begins to choke, Ser Dontos quickly realizes what was going on and tells Sansa about the necklace and warns her about the dangerous consequences if the truth coms out. Dontos takes Sansa to a vessel, where Littlefinger was eagerly waiting. He then explains to Sansa the whole story about the death of king Joffrey. Littlefinger then gets rid of Dontos and goes to Vale with Sansa.
The story has taken a new twist with the death of the king and the audience are eagerly waiting to know how the new season will unfold.
