In the recap of the popular reality TV show ‘The Bachelor’, Juan Pablo finally made his decision in what was billed as one of the most bizarre seasons of the show. In the end of a tumultuous season 18, Juan Pablo instead of getting down on one knee, chose to offer a red rose to the winner of the finale, Nikki Ferrell without formally proposing to her.
His last words to the runner-up 32-year old Clare Crawley were even more awkward as she was absolutely livid and was finding it hard to hold back her tears. She even said that she would rather have someone else to be the father of her kids than him. When she left, he whispered into the mike saying he was so glad that he didn’t choose her, which made the audience gasp in dismay.
In another freakish incident which happened at the time of the live performance of ‘After the final rose’, both of them made their maiden public appearance together but they were hardly showing any emotions.
The chances of Nikki who won quite convincingly got a boost when she first met his daughter Camila and grew quite close to her in a short span of time. The relationship was strengthened even further when Juan Pablo met Nikki’s parents in Kansas City.
The fans of “ The Bachelor” got a huge relief when they were finally spared the torture thanks to the commercial break. At that point, the host Chris got the opportunity to declare the latest Bachelorette — Andi, the assistant district lawyer of Atlanta and a public favorite.
The 2014 edition of “ The Bachelor” had its share of unpredictable behavior by many of the participants. The audience is hoping to see better show in the next season.
