Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber was arrested by the Miami Beach police on account of three charges- driving without a license, drunken driving or Driving Under the Influence (DUI), and for resisting arrest. Justin was driving his yellow Lamborghini and was found drag racing with a red Ferrari early in the morning in Los Angeles. He was driving at a speed of 60 miles per hour in a residential area where the speed limit is 30 miles per hour.

When the police apprehended him, he was not co-operating. He was very aggressive and used some of the choicest words against the police when he was searched for any weapons. After his arrest, he was kept in jail for an hour after which he appeared before a judge who ordered his release on bail for an amount of 2500 dollars. At the hearing, he was represented by his lawyer Roy Black.

He was kept in jail and booked for failing a sobriety test according to the chief of Miami Beach police Raymond Martinez. After his arrest, he admitted that he was drinking alcohol and also had been smoking the drug marijuana. There was a clear indication that Justin deliberately wanted to race as two black SUVs was found parked on the middle of the road to block traffic for facilitating his race. The driver of the Ferrari Def Jam was also arrested on the same charges. This incident comes after many complaints were filed against him in Los Angeles for various reasons, none of which were proved.

This was the first time that Justin Bieber ended up on the wrong side of the law. He however, was not at all shameful for his act and seemed to enjoy his short stint in jail and was posing in his orange jumpsuits when his pictures were being taken for the court appearance.
