Top singer Scott Stapp who earned several awards with his music band Creed during the early part of the century is today a penniless person. As a talented singer and lyricist with rock band Creed, Scott received a Grammy and several certifications. Though he was a millionaire hardly a decade ago, with record sales of nearly 50 million albums worldwide, Scott Stapp recently shocked his fans when he posted a 15 minute video clipping. The video post on his Facebook page claims that Scott Stapp is presently homeless and financially broke, which is due to his comments about President Obama made in 2012 in a television interview.
In the mysterious black and white 15 minute video, Scott Stapp states that he is an unfortunate victim of IRS harassment because of the interview and his bank accounts have been frozen on several occasions whenever he tried to access them. Though he has been accused by his estranged wife of taking several drugs he claims that he is completely drug free and his current troubles stem from financial problems uncovered during recent audit of personal and professional finances. Scott Stapp claimed that his accounts were first frozen by IRS when it was discovered that money was missing from his accounts and taxes were supposedly unpaid. Though his wife claims that he is delusional, Scott claims that his financial troubles started within a couple of months of his interview with Fox Television where he made derogatory comments about President Obama.
In the bizarre video he also claims that when he tried to get to the accounts, which have not been blocked by IRS he discovered that they had been hacked and all the money was missing. He stated that his bank has accepted that his money is missing and they are trying to resolve the issue. Without a home and no money he first started out by living at a Holiday Inn hotel and after that in his truck. With no money for food, he ended up sick at a hospital’s emergency room. Bemoaning his current situation Scott Stapp stated in his Facebook video that he regrets his 2012 interview and is looking for a suitable lawyer to help him out of the current situation.
