The Seattle Seahawks win Super Bowl 48 in East Rutherford, New Jersey 43 to 8 over the Denver Broncos. The game started with a quick safety with 14:48 left in the first quarter, the Seattle Seahawks showed that they were ready to win this game regardless of what the predictions said. This early score happened when Center Manny Ramirez mishandled the ball. It was the fastest score ever in a Super Bowl. The Seahawks score again with 2:16 remaining in the first quarter to make the score 8 to 0.

The first touchdown of the game is scored with 12:00 left in the second quarter. By halftime, the score was 22 to 0. Interestingly, no team has ever won the Super Bowl that has been down by more than 10 points at any point in the game, and no team has ever won the Super Bowl after failing to score in the first half. Yet, Bronco fans are praying for a miracle.

Proving that the second half would look much like the first half, the Seattle Sea Hawks scored again with 4:48 left in third quarter setting a record for the most consecutive points scored in a row during the Super Bowl. With 2:58 left in third quarter, the Seahawks score again to make the score Seahawks 36, Broncos 0. Seahawk fans are starting to pray that their team will commit a total shutout of the Broncos. Finally, with the clock about to expire in the third quarter Manning finds Damaryius Thomas to make the score at the end of the third Seahawks 36, Broncos 8.

The fourth quarter was once again all about the Sea Hawks, erasing any hope the Broncos had of making this a respectable game. The only score in the last quarter came with 11:45 left in fourth quarter, and it was the Sea Hawks touchdown once again.

Who knows what next year will bring, but you might want to bet on the team wearing white jerseys when it comes time for the Super Bowl as 12 out the last 16 teams to wear white have won the Super Bowl.
