Warner Brothers Releases Details of Batman vs. Superman Movie


Warner Brothers is set to release its newest production, Batman vs. Superman. On January 31, 2014, they announced that Jesse Eisenberg will be playing villain Lex Luthor in this Zach Snyder directed film. Warner Brothers believes that Eisenberg will be able to present Luthor’s complicated and sophisticated character extremely well, while being able to take the character to new levels of complexity.

In the Batman vs. Superman movie, the role of Alfred, friend and ally of Bruce Wayne, will be played by another Hollywood elite, Jeremy Irons.

Warner Brothers had previously announced that Hollywood veteran Ben Affleck would play the role of Batman, while Gal Gadot will be Wonder Woman. Also, appearing in the film will be Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.

Chris Terrio is hard at work developing the screen script from David S. Goyer’s screenplay. The movie is set to be released on May 6, 2016. In making these choices, Warner Brothers hopes that the younger actors and actresses will draw a younger crowd of parents with younger kids to the movie ensuring that yet another generation will be introduced to these characters.

You may want to mark May 6, 2016, on your calendar and plan to get your tickets early. Marvel is set to release a movie on the same weekend, and just a week later Fox’s X-Men: Apocalypse is due to be released.

Citing a Ben Affleck’s leg injury as the reason for the delay, Warner Brothers has bumped up the release of their movie Pan. Hugh Jackman is set to play Blackbeard in this Peter Pan remake. Warner Brothers has also announced that they want to make sure that everything is perfect when they release Batman vs. Superman.
